Services & Prices

The services offered by PIXANIM are open to the entire public or private scientific community, on a regional, national and international scale.

How to access our services :

The platform is open to the entire scientific community in the public and private sectors.

To submit a request to the PIXANIM platform, send an email to pixanim@inrae.fr specifying your project, your needs and your expectations, and we will get back to you as soon as possible to arrange a remote or face-to-face meeting. Together we will discuss the feasibility of your project as part of a research collaboration or service provision, draw up the specifications (depending on the experimental and analytical strategies chosen) and assess the precise costs. Planning will be discussed at this meeting and clarified at the start of the project.

The platform can also help you set up projects (funding applications) and draw up documents relating to regulations (application for authorisation for experimental protocols on animals, APAFiS).

The research collaboration involves an investment by the research and development platform in the progress of the work, on the basis of previously acquired expertise both in animal experimentation and on a technological and analytical level.  This commits the collaborator to recognising this involvement when promoting the results and to mentioning the PIXANIM platform and the staff involved in publications.

Services are invoiced (including data storage) and tailored to the requirements of each research project, depending on the type of contractual relationship and the user's affiliation (academic/private). Quotations are individualised and drawn up to assess the full cost of each project (direct and indirect costs associated with the project). Various types of contract (collaboration contract, research service contract or service provision contract) will be offered, involving, depending on the case, an obligation of means or of results.
